Electricity worker lands in hospital after his leg was allegedly broken by MOPOL, for disconnecting ex-IGP’s light

- A worker with the Eko Electricity Distribution Company, Dele Ogundele, allegedly got his leg broken by Attah Aninoko, a police sergeant attached to a house reportedly owned by former IGP, Mohammed Abubakar

- Aninoko allegedly broke Ogundele’s leg as the latter disconnected power supply from Abubakar’s house which was reportedly owing bills to the tune of N154,693

- The matter was reportedly reported to the police station at Ikoyi, and the sergeant has now been detained

- The police PRO however disagreed with the electricity company’s version of events, and stated that Ogundele’s leg had not been broken

Attah Aninoko, a police sergeant attached to a house reportedly owned by Mohammed Abubakar, a former Inspector-Genaral of Police (IGP), has allegedly broken the leg of a worker with the Eko Electricity Distribution Company, Dele Ogundele, Punch reports.

The unfortunate incident occurred as Ogundele disconnected power supply to Abubakar’s house.
