Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has been named The best FIFA's men coach of the year for the first time in his career.

The French man was named the best coach in the world on Monday, 23 of October at the FIFA awards gala in London.

The award came as no great surprise as Zidane led Real Madrid to their La Liga in five years and they also became the first team in history to win the UEFA Champions League back-to-back.

That was enough to ensure he saw off challenges from Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte that won the Serie A and the English Premier League respectively.

Juventus shotstopper Gianluigi Buffon was named the goalkeeper of the year ahead of Real Madrid's Keylor Navas and Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer.
