The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the final collation of ballot results for the Saturday Anambra State Governorship election. The final result would be announced by the Returning Officer, Prof. Zana Akpabio, the current Vice Chancellor of University of Calabar. Prof. Akapabio would be assisted by the Residents Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Nwachukwu Orji. The gubernatorial poll was held amidst tight security in the 21 local Government Areas of the state.
